St. Alphonsus Maria de Liguori: “By assisting them (the souls in purgatory through prayer) we shall not only give great pleasure to God but will acquire also great merit for ourselves. And, in return for our suffrages, these blessed souls will not neglect to obtain for us many graces from God, but particularly the grace of eternal life.”

Dear Friends,

As we enjoy the Fall colors and reflect on the changing seasons, the passage of time and how quickly life goes by, let us not forget to have recourse to our dear friends, the Poor Souls in Purgatory. 

More than any other time in the history of the Church have these souls been neglected and forgotten due to a lax clergy and hierarchy. They have been so very neglected because of this.  Let us realize their plight and offer these novenas for them. In addition, if one can afford to have Masses offered for at least their beloved ones that have passed away, this will console them more than anything else we can do for them.

Lastly, we are asking, even begging you to pray to the Poor Souls for us as we have a most serious situation that will be resolved - we hope- at the end of November.  This involves the soul of a little one. Please join us in prayer to the poor souls for this urgent intention!
