"I'm Not Afraid to Die!"
Jim Caviezel playing....Doug Rawlins,
in the movie: "Infidel"
Dear Friends,
After listening to Jim Caviezel be interviewed, these words of Peter came to mind exhorting both priests and laity to their respective duties and recommends to all humility and watchfulness:
"Be sober and watch: because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, goeth about seeking whom he may devour."
However upon making certain of the correct wording, I found the whole paragraph appropriate:
"Be you humbled therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in the time of visitation: Casting all your care upon him, for he hath care of you. Be sober and watch: because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, goeth about seeking whom he may devour. Whom resist ye, strong in faith: knowing that the same affliction befalls your brethren who are in the world. But the God of all grace, who hath called us into his eternal glory in Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a little, will himself perfect you, and confirm you, and establish you."
[1 Peter 5:8]
I feel that I must emphasize that I don't know which words of Jim Caviezel are more powerful those on screen or the ones he spoke in the interview.... for myself, no matter how this movie plays out ( and I did see some clips) his words to his interviewers are more powerful!!!!
Great job Jim Caviezel!!!! God bless you!!!
